VOQ remains the pinnacle of Kemdi’s reconnection with his home country Nigeria as a long-time member of the diaspora. After many living room conversations and a desire to make an effort to share and educate, he decided to assist his good friend Nosarieme Garrick to facilitate the campaign back in April 2010. Kemdi’s belief is that Vote or Quench will always be a resource to help water the seeds in the minds of young Nigerians with a desire for change. He believes the Nigerian democracy can only be best shaped and defined by young Nigerians.

Kemdi graduated from American University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration – Marketing. His background experience mix ranges from working in revenue & strategy operations and PR/online marketing consulting for clients including Brookings Institution, Bank of America, top U.S private & public Universities as well as many burgeoning mid-small size brands in varying industries. Kemdi was also part of VOQ’s star-studded cast who partnered with several local (Nigerian) and international organizations for the popular #IfNaijaVotes and #WhatAboutUs awareness campaigns leading up to Nigeria’s elections in 2011.
