Kunbi Adefule is currently a Teach For America corps member in the Rio Grande Valley region of Texas. She teaches English Language Arts (ELA) at an elementary school in an underserved community. Prior to this, she served as the program director of an Educational Organization in Lagos, Nigeria where she piloted a summer camp program for children. She completed her MPA at Cornell Institute for Public Affairs in 2012. At Cornell, she worked with a number of NGOs including field engagement in the US, Colombia, Honduras and Guatemala in the areas of education, internal displaced persons (IDPs) and program management. She loves to travel and learn about different cultures. So far, she has been to 32 countries.
